The goal of palliative care is to improve tha patient's overall quality of life. Palliative care can help you carry on with daily life; improve your ability to go through medical treatments; and help match your treatment choices to your goals.
The goal is to improve quality of life for both the patient and the family. Palliative Care is provided by a team of doctors, nurses, social workers and other specialists who work with the patient's existing doctors.
